Would you mind?

Would you mind sending up a little prayer for us this weekend? Nothing's wrong, in fact, it's kind of exciting, but we could use some help with a decision we hope to be making soon. For those of you that will be visiting in September, you will appreciate the effort we're putting in now, trust me. :) Many, many thanks!

  1. Bethany, you know that you and your family are always in our prayers. We have been so blessed this weekend, that I would love to share our blessings by giving a special prayer for you and your family's decision. We have a very strong testimony of prayer, fasting, tithing and fast offering. With your dad's injury and being off work for three weeks, we have really been struggling financially. We always paid our tithing and even though things were tight, we know others are if worse shape than we are, so when President Monson ask everyone to increase their fast offering, we did so with joy in our heart. Today we received a check from Worker's Comp which was considerable higher than we anticipated. We have been able to pay our bills, of course tithing and fast offering first, and can see a light at the end of the tunnel and will be able to pay our income tax by April 15th without having to get a loan. We can now start thinking about coming in September and hope to have enough money to buy the plane tickets by May. I am not sure why Heavenly Father blesses us so much, but He does and we are very grateful to Him.

Also, this week Crystal kept her promise and even though the lawyer tried to convence her to take more from Jared, she said no and kept to the agreement that she and Jared made about the divorce settlement. I know she will be blessed and we do wish her the very best. Now both she and Jared can move on with their lives. I believe everything will be final within a month.

We know that you will make the right decision for your whole family. Our thoughts and prayers will be with all of you.

  3. I'll be sure to send up a prayer for you. I have had a wonderful weekend. We took the youth to the temple on Saturday, watched the Young Women's broadcast Saturday night, and then this morning, Bryan was called to be 2nd Counselor in the Bishopric. It has been such a spiritual weekend. We have the most amazing combination of young people in Mexico Ward. It is really a pleasure to just spend time with them. By the way, did I mention that Sabra and Bryan are expecting baby number 4? Bruce is now 6 and will be 7 in June. Sam is 5, and Mia will be 3 in April. They live right her in town with us, and I am just lappin' it up!!!!
    Love,
    Sister Heydt
