Family activities

We've been trying to do more things as a family lately, especially outside activities. So this week we went to the park twice and the zoo yesterday. Our neighborhood park was renovated recently and the playground opened up just a couple of weeks ago after having been closed for two months. The new equipment is great and the boys (especially Levi) have really been enjoying it all. A.J. mostly wants to play catch with Aaron and gets angry when he has to stop. They thought it was pretty funny to run away and try to avoid being photographed, but I got them! Here's a few from the park:

After Dad says time to go.

Levi right after he bashed his mouth on the ladybug's handlebars:

Yesterday we had fabulous weather: about 70 degrees and sunny. So we decided to head to the zoo. Our zoo is in a very hilly area, so the cooler the weather, the better. We packed a picnic and spent a long time and focused on some areas we rarely get to. We got a lot of good pictures, but here are just a few.

Levi's preschool class is the kangaroos. so this is a picture of the boys and some lazy kangaroos.

  1. A.J.,

Have fun playing ball with your dad and realize that baseball cannot be exclusive, but baseball can be a lot of FUN! We had a great time playing with our children: your mom, Uncle Jon, Uncle Jared and Aunt Hallie. We loved watching their games and hope some day that we can watch your play.

    Levi,

Congratulations on pooping in the potty and contributing so much to your friends and teachers at school. We are so happy that you are doing well in school. So your class is the kangaroos. What fun. Do you hop around like a kangaroo?

    Boys,

Remember to help your Mom and Dad, do chores and especially do your parts during Family Home Evening, Family Prayers and Family Scripture Study.

We had a General Authority, a member of the Seventy, and he is a member of the Area Presidency speak in Sacrament Meeting today. He talked about families and Family Home Evening, Family Prayers, Family Scripture Study and how having those activities makes us better members of the Church, citizens in the country and family members. We love you and miss you very much.

Grandpa was set apart as the First Assistant to the High Priest Group Leader, Bro. Otis. Grandpa was given a beautiful blessing when he was set apart.

We look forward to seeing you in December. We love you all.
