Musings of a second-grader

I just moved into second grade. I had a substitute today. Her name was Mrs. Profitt. It was her first time at our school. She was always a substitute teacher, but at different schools.
The Cards lost today, 10-2.
I got new underwear that has Bumblebee, Optimus Prime, and Bulkhead (Transformers) on it.
I'm watching the USF v. Kansas football game. They are tied at 34 with four minutes left in the fourth quarter. Somebody just got hurt. USF has the ball.

  1. Hi AJ,
I can tell you are a sports minded kind of guy. I wanted to tell you I got to go to the Cards vs. the cubs on Tuesday Sept. 9th... the cards won 4 to 3 in the 9th inning. I got to sit in the bleacher seats which are close to the right out field. it was a lot of fun because there were lots of Cubs fans that came to the game from Chicogo. I told them the cardinals would win and they did. Hope Second grade is going alright for you. I will down load some pictures from the game onto my blog soon. TTFN

  2. Hey AJ, glad to hear second grade is great. I always liked Substitute teachers it meant we could get away with a lot more. I agree Black-O would be a weird name for my car. Thanks for the suggestion!

  3. A.J.,

We enjoyed your "Musing." We hope that you enjoyed your substitute teacher. When Grandma was in 9th grade, she got in a lot of trouble with the substitute teacher in her French class. She talked to a classmate when whe should have been listening to the teacher. We hope you were a better student with Mrs. Profitt than your Grandma was with her teacher. :)

Sorry that the Cardinals lost there game on Friday. Sometimes that happens no matter how hard we try to do our best, it just wasn't meant for us to win.

We are glad that you like your new underwear. It sounds really handsome.

We hope you had a fun weekend and that everything will go well for you at school this week.

How is Levi doing with pooping in the potty chair? We bet he likes being a big boy like you.

    Love,

    Grandma and Grandpa Sudholt
