A fabulous day...

at the beach! And, with my cousin Carrie! We haven't seen each other since we were 6 and 7 years old. That is a long time ago. We got to hang out with her great husband Jake and her adorable daughter Lila. She has curls like you wouldn't believe. They definitely came from Jake's side, since there are no such curls on the Sudholt side. None.


















The boys loved the beach. Levi played in the surf for nearly two solid hours before he was so cold he couldn't keep going. He would run down the water's edge, and then run back being chased by the waves. Sometimes, he wasn't fast enough and got knocked down. But, he always popped right back up and kept going. A.J. also enjoyed the water, but he also spent some time working on a sand castle.


















For dinner, we found a great little restaurant/cafe/bakery place. And, true to Orange County's reputation, we found a Ferrari parked outside. So we took a picture in front of it.
